NOWDiagnostics has recently delivered another revolutionary product – the Direct Collect. With only a drop of fingerstick blood and in just 10 minutes, this unique device separates plasma from blood and yields two separate, high-quality samples that are stable at room-temperature for months. North American collaborators have successfully piloted the Direct Collect for use by their patients to collect blood and plasma samples used for multiple laboratory tests, including genetic sequencing assays.
