Clete Brewer brings 25 years of experience leading successful startups and publicly traded companies that broadly encompass the service industry, retail, franchising and manufacturing. Brewer has led two IPOs and raised almost $400M in public and private financing. Since 2010, Brewer has served as chairman and CEO of BlueInGreen, a water technology disruptor for the environmental treatment of water and wastewater.
Prior to that, Brewer was president and co-owner of Sport Clips, Inc. During his tenure there, Sport Clips grew from 42 franchised stores to over 675 with revenues of over $250 million.
From 1988 to 2002, Brewer served as president, CEO and co-founder of Staffmark where he led the IPO (STAF:NASDAQ). Under Brewer’s leadership, the company grew from $600,000 in sales to over $1B. Brewer was also chairman of Staffmark and Edgewater Technology.
Brewer serves on the boards of VIC Technology Ventures, Biologics MD, DataRank, the Executive Advisory Board at the Sam Walton College of Business and is a co-founder of Gravity Ventures Arkansas Fund. Brewer graduated from the Walton College of Business in 1987 with a BSBA in finance.
